Lucas did announce that he had chosen Nebraska but I really think he is an academic casualty and either would have to Redshirt or go the JUCO route. As bad as he supposedly wanted to come to LSU I just couldn't see Saban backing off of him as much as he did without there being a lot more going on then we know about. Maybe he wasn't even on pace to graduate even with summer school or something.
Saban actually offered Jay a scholly. He had about a 1 week window to accept or decline. You snooze you lose. Saban pulled the offer off the table and moved on. If Lucas can get his scores up a little(who knows if he can) Jay can play in the fall.
GPA is not his problem, it's the ACT. He scored low on the first one and if he improves his next score enough to qualify, the NCAA will question it. All signs point to juco or Div 1-AA....
yeah i knew act was the problem i was just saying cajdav was wrong about him maybe not graduating. i think he will go somewheres and greyshirt or goto juco.
