A little premature to make that statement.

We are talking about a half vs bama and now the ole miss game, who's team has no pass defense to speak of.

A little premature? That's like having your cannon go off as you ring the doorbell to pick up your date.:hihi:

To be honest, since Jarrett Lee has started taking snaps from him in the Tennessee game, he definitely looks like a new quarterback in the option game. I actually feel really safe, and comfortable now with him running the option, he has been doing it wonderful lately. And in Alabama 2nd half and this game he has found his stroke throwing the ball downfield. Congrats to JJ he played a wonderful game.

Maybe he just needed the competition, to push him, and make him fight for his starting position. I think that has helped him.

Congrats to JJ from a serious doubter earlier in the season. He looks like he is finally getting it. I think play JL periodically has given him a chance to see the game differently and has caused him to step up. He isn't perfect, but I feel like we can be a bad mf now with JJ performing at a higher level. Now, if the D can step up a bit more and the OL can get us short yards when we need it...

I think his ability to make plays with his feet is giving him more confidence, however... when the first two options are not there he still seems to get happy feet.

He isn't taking sacks lately though.

coming out of last season, JJ's 3 biggest issues were, poor pitch skills on the option, holding onto the ball too long and taking the sack, and an inability to throw the ball downfield.

He has shown he can be consistent as an option quarterback, he has totally turned that part of his game around.

He has shown that he can throw the ball downfield with precision.

He has also shown that he can be a guy who gets rid of the ball quicker and make plays with his feet, by making quick decisions in the pocket.

Now if he can only do the last 2 on a consistent basis, Jefferson could be poised for a great senior season, because this guy that we saw tonight, was Jordan being a true run/pass threat that can get the ball into the hands of his weapons, or can be a weapon himself.

Well then, good thing Les doesn't give a "rat's ass" about his critics. Dig back just a few weeks in these forums and find many bitching that dumbass Les and dumbass Crowton should never call the option again.

You want to dog on JJ, go right ahead. I'm seeing vast improvement in the games that matter. Throw out the ULM game. The coaches were fking around with things getting ready for the final 2 games. If JJ plays the entire game today with no cameos by JLee, we win going away.
