1. Interesting thought.......if Mett was healthy, could he have led us 99 yards?....Love Mett, but just curious
  2. I would like to think yes, but Jennings was able to use his legs for some yardage on that drive -- a 21 yard run I believe. Mett wouldn't have been able to do that.

  3. I wondered if THAT same thought crossed Mett's mind.

  4. Not at all. Did you see how happy Mett was for Jennings? This is a team.

Jennings got it done when we needed it but Mett was our boy all year and got it done when needed.

  5. If Mett hadn't been injured, we would have scored a TD on that drive instead of a FG.

  6. Glad we got to see Jennings like he was in HS. Always been a pass 1st QB who could use his legs to get out of trouble. Not the other way around.

  7. Yes, I was also glad to seem him disciplined enough to forgo the run right away. He's going to be a Mett/Jefferson cross. :D

I remember reading a good clip on him about being very well-respected in HS- by fellow students AND faculty/staff.

  8. Nice to see some young talent living up to the hype! Hopefully he can be appropriately coached up. Also what about Dural! That dude showed some speed, hopefully it is next man up for our receiving core.

  9. I hate the fact that mett got hurt, but I loved the look into the future that we got with Jennings....wow athleticism. I forgot what that can do for you. All those wide receivers not committed yet have gotten a look at what they could have throwing them the ball in the future.

  10. Sup Tiga…Remember hearing stories about him as soon as he enrolled early at LSU. Was the 1st at practice and last to leave.
