I will say this in support of those who will always find fault with Les. We threw the ball on first down five times, tonight, completed four, and every one went for a first down. That, in my mind, speaks towards a QB who can run a balanced offense if we will only take the handcuffs off and let him throw.
You know, that was one of the best defenses in the country on the other side of the ball. Sometimes, the other team makes plays. But.......no, you're right. Let's hand off every play. That seems to make everyone happy.
Crow my ass where am I out of sorts here? I love we won. I hate we did it with freaking ducktape and baling wire. A passing QB would have made the difference.
