    I was wondering the same thing. I heard this kid had a lot of upside. Also was he at the parade of champions?

    He was a four-star recruit in 2003. Supposed to be a "can't miss" prospect on the line. Dandy Don says he quit after the Sugar Bowl but it wasn't announced until yesterday.

    Perhaps Nick was giving him time to change his mind.

    I wish him good luck in the future. This is going to happen with so many good players coming to LSU.

    is headed elsewhere because of competition. His size wasn't accurate as advertised, out of shape and understanding he had trouble blocking in practices!

    Wish the young man well, not a huge loss! Expect a few more names to come up in the near...

    LSU's Depth Chart at his Guard position ... says it all

    Nate Livings 6'5", 315, SO--------------->Starter
    Garrett Wibel, 6'3", 305, RSFR---------->Backup
    Doug PLanchard, 6'3", 299, SO--------->Backup
    Jerry Sevin, 6'3", 300, RSFR------------->Scout Squad
    Brett Helms, 6'3", 300 FR---------------->Signee

    Another John Curtis star off to greener pastures ... hell, he could start at Tulane right away ... probably where he'll end up.

    I walked out of the Super Dome behind a pretty big kid with an LSU jersey on.

    It had Sevin's name on the back.

    I wondered at the time how he got out so quick, or if it was a relative or something.

    Anybody know for sure if he dressed for the Sugar Bowl?
