Well, I guess it depends on your size. If it is for someone that is 4'11'' it wont make a difference. But I did it (Im 6'3'') and looks normal.

elastic sleeved jerseys look like crap without pads anyway... they get poofy armed..

I have Rp 2005 white game autographed game used jersey i bought off ebay. The arms are elastic and cut under the armpit. I tried putting it on but it was way to tight. I also have a white #98 from the 1998 season which is wearable because the size is bigger and the arms are longer with elastic.

I also had bought hester's and sheltz's purple 05 jersey from the gift shop by mikes cage awhile back for $75.00 each. I ened up selling them for 4 times that on ebay.
