Jim Hawthorne

How much do guys like Charles Henagriff and Jim Hawthorne make each year? Just wondering.

 

I would think at least 100k. Not too mention all the perks; like free travel to games with meals and hotels.... I know Hawthorne's brother; I will ask him the next time I see him.

 

Besides calling the games, what else do their jobs entail? I know that Hawthorne does the coaches shows. Do you know what they do during the day?

 

Well he calls games just about all year long minus a few months..... I'm sure that he studies a lot of games, and reviews apposing teams rosters. I know that they have like 3 guys who are behind the scenes who pass along stats and interesting tid-bits. In the off-time he writes a book..... He's a very busy guy from what I've heard from his brother who doesn't get to see him that often.

 

doesnt Hawthorne have a positin in LSU's athletic department as well?

Yep. He's does country music shows around the state.

 

Don't have a clue but I am sure they earn it.
