Jefferson is back on the team. The Kentucky game is 48 hours away. It's probably safe for me to assume that he's not involved at all in preparations for this week's game. But assuming he will be the back-up QB to Lee, when do you think he will be ready? Will he be ready to take on the back up role for the Florida game?

I find it very doubtful for JJ to play against KY. To short of a window IMO. I know he had practiced all the off season but Mett should have a better feel with Krag/ Stud and some of the players at least. Maybe a week or two he could be back up. But if we put in our second string QB in the second half I definelty expect Mettenberger to come out.

forgive me for disagreeing, but I think its a very real possibility that we see Jefferson play some during the game. If the game gets out of hand like most people expect it to, I think he could get the entire 4th quarter. He's not coming back from injury so he should be more than physically capable. Even if its just handing the ball off to run out the clock, I bet he sees at least some action.

Yes, we will see jj. No doubt that we see him aginst a beaten, demoralized Kentucky team. He will look good enough aginst a beaten, outclassed team for these jefferswagger idiots to be screaming for his return to a starting roll. Bet on it

I think it is important to get him into the game ASAP to get him up to game speed even as a backup or change of pace QB.

Heard on the radio this morning a sound bite from Les saying he was going to be in every game from here on out. I would assume there are plays scripted just for him and Les is planning on running them.
