I can be the 1st to say from having actually seen Greg Monroe play that it has to be a weak year in high school recruiting if he was #1. He is only dominant because of the 6-3 centers trying to guard him. So if this kid can play, then it's just like signing a Monroe, imo, because I, personally, never thought he was that good.
I hope you're right about Monroe. I remember saying the same thing after I saw Lester Earl play in the Top 28 deal at the Assembly Center way back. I remember thinking the guy couldn't shoot a lick and in college, at 6'8" he wouldn't be dominating if he couldn't shoot.
Do we have a solid PG? I like getting talented big guys, but tell me we have a solid PG going into this season. With solid PG play Brady's teams would probably have been more competitive the past few seasons. Are good PGs that rare and why are a bunch of smaller schools able to nab them?
