100% agreed. He was overly opinionated to be a good color announcer, IMO. Had a friend who worked for his beer distributorship here in tha Bay and said dude is an absolute @ss.
Man I always liked listening to Joe, say what you will but that cat knew his baseball. I'm sure he will get another gig somewhere.

He's just the typical Captain Obvious a lot like the idiot NFL announcer Dan Dierdork. And then he was always throwing his career info/achievements into the deal, which was nauseating. I also didn't like the sound of his voice. Other than that, he was fantastic. A true pioneer.
