Thats just the number released by the state. I feel pretty confident he is making more money than that.

Agreed. That is what the university is paying him for coaching. Tt doesn't mention radio, tv, etc, or their apparal contract. I looked at Saban's contract. Alabama is paying him $225,000 a year for coaching the team. The other $3.25 million is for the weekly radio and tv shows.
pretty good pay for getting sideline passes to watch PSU games...come on he's a figure head. do you think he still coaches?
This conversation about coaches base salaries remind me of Major League Baseball. Half the team owners say they are losing money. Yeah, right.
