1. Even if they were as young as some would have us believe, they'd still be bad by that standard. The problem is, not only did they not improve, they got progressively worse as the season wore on. How does that happen?
  2. We may miss Ron Cooper more than we know.
  3. Winner winner winner!!
  4. Reid and Simon were the only two that got significant playing time last season so they were young in terms of experience. You are right though, they did get progressively worse as the season played out.
  5. Yep. In another thread, I questioned how good of a hire Corey Raymond was. He left Nebraska, and they still had the #1 pass D in the country (although they got completely shellacked in the last 2 games). Of course, it's also not saying a lot to hail from the B1G and have a great pass D....

  6. replacing a nickle and corner with true freshmen= young. Replacing Claiborne and Mathieu means even more problems.
  7. Many don't remember having Brooks and Taylor back there. Thats a lot to replace in a backfield. Anytime a QB came to the line last year, he had to look for TM7, that was lost more than anything this year.
  8. This game helped Hopkins, he was a top 5 WR Jr. this year. He got noticed.

  9. Jalen Collins was born in 1993.

Jalen Mills was born in 1994.

    Holy shit, I'm getting old.
  10. this is not newsworthy. you've been old.
