According to the weather channel the rain should stop in Auburn tomorrow AM. My question is will this be enough time for the field to drain? Does anyone know how much rain AU received?

Auburn received a lot of rain but I'm pretty sure the field will dry by game time.

If the game goes off, it should actually be a great day for football weather-wise.

Doesnt matter if you cover a field with suranwrap, if its gets 10 inches of rain, then its gonna soak the ground.. not the mess that we had a couple weeks ago, but slick non the less.

wouldnt it be funny if they left the cover on the field a little too long and the field was brown Saturday night cuz the grass died......those silly barners.....

Auburn's field has a very good drainage system that was improved just 2 or 3 years ago. Gotta put those agriculture degrees to work for something. ;)

When is Auburn going to give out common sense degrees. They sure need that program in Auburn.

I've checked two separate weather sites and they both agree: Auburn proper received at most 3.5" of rain total for the storm

Toss in the fact that it's no longer raining, the sun will be out later today and all morning tomorrow, and (especially if the field was covered) the field should be in pretty good shape tomorrow.

Not perfect, but not a total mudfest.
