  1. Yes I know, I hated Chavis' style of D, but had we kept driving we would have no need for the Defense. A touchdown or more time off the clock would have won it. Tap just never likes to point out Les' culpability in our demise.

My son and I were at that game around a bunch of Bama fans and everyone in the stadium knew we won when Mett was completing those passes. Then when Miles put on the brakes everyone knew he was Nick's Bitch again. It was at that game that my son told me "dad Les will never beat Nick again"....and he was right.

  2. Exactly right. Winning football games isn't easy, you have to take them from the other team. Miles sucked at that while the little bastard to the east is freaking mongol

All in the philosophy. Just when you think its enough, its not.

  3. The crazy thing is in 2010 Les had some balls. He ran the Deangelo Peterson sweep, brought in Lee for a crucial 3rd down throw deep in our own territory for a huge first down. Then 2 years later when Mett is having the game of his life he handcuffs him.

  5. Ol les was moving on up
  6. It's weird but I've always thought that Peterson was the one most wasted /cheated/etc. by miles

  10. Wasn't that the "general" in the post...General Lee?

Let all of that sink in for a moment. LSU fielded one of the most dominant college football teams in history with two guys who merely equaled a mediocre QB at best.

We all know if we'd been paired with Oklahoma State that January, instead of a rematch with Alabama, that the trajectories of LSU and Bama would have been changed dramatically.
