Keep in mind I am old. Was there from 1966 to 1968 with a short TDY in Vietnam. Almost decided to live in Alaska when my duty was up in 1968. Loved the fishing and hunting there and got into snow skiing at Mt Alyeska. Winters were just too long and I missed Louisiana so left after staying 1 year in Anchorage working on the North Slope in the oil industry.

We got into vodka & soda with a slice of satsuma form our tree and some good pinot noir. I need to go on a Spartan diet after the new year my wife is trying to feed me to death. Not a bad way to go I guess.
