Junior Hockey World Cup

I just watched the USA defeat the Russians in an OT shootout 4 - 3. The USA scored on the last possible shot to win. They advance to the finals against a TBD team. Hell of a hockey game.

 

Not surprising that I'm the only hockey fan in here. Watching the Sweden - Canada game. Winner plays the US.

 

In other not so surprising news, Missouri is leading LSU by 9 in the 1st half. If Alleva doesn't fire Jones he needs to be fired.

 

I'd say it's safe to assume that.

Can't watch soccer. Got hooked on hockey when I arrived at the Air Force Academy in 1972.

 

Gold medal game (USA & Canada) going to OT tied @ 4.

 

Game tied after OT. Going to a 5 shot shoot out.

 

USA wins the gold medal in a shootout. Hell of a game.
