herbstreit used to be pretty good but now hes so caught up in the media circus he must not pay attention to the games as much. Miami is not the best 1 loss team. Most likely they wont even be the best 2 loss team after this weekend.

collegefootballnews reminds me of the espn of old. seems their writers follow college football because they are interested in it, enjoy it and not just to be a sideshow. I think their assessments of teams are usually pretty good and their reasonings are solid. they seem hungry while espn is indeed fat. i wonder if they will ever get enough backing to get their own network. fox does the nfl well but their college shows/broadcasts are usually pretty bad.
