UK is still 6-3 in the SEC, 3rd in the East.... We still are having a bad year...

1. tubby smith's recruits haven't been for the past few years typical kentucky recruits

2. injuries have played a big part

3. seems that players haven't yet "bought into" billy G's system.

if you are posting on a LSU board, you are not allowed to think that injuries have anything to do with the success of basketball teams.

This thread is only mentioning Kentucky for obvious reasons. Vandy has a lot of young and senior talent on this team and is just starting to gel with their Freshman Center who is averaging 17 points a game. I have season tickets to Vandy games and Vandy was just waiting to give Kentucky this beat down after the double OT loss in Lexington. There are a number of Kentucky fans who buy up Vandy season tickets year after year just so they can have seats for this game. They were out in force ready to be their arrogant selves, it was nice to see them all sitting on their butts the whole game.

The Kentucky basketball situation is so similar to the Bama football situation. Both programs with a large arrogant fan base that demands multiple NC's a decade or fire the coach. Billy will be successful if the UK fan base will let him. Sound familiar?

And LSU's 1987 victory over the Cats is now not the worst SEC loss in Kentucky's history:
