1. Man you must have missed that year or something because Mettenberger was pedestrian at best in 2012.

  2. Based on their potential , not accomplishments. Last year was an exception because we had a qb

  3. Now that was a crisp display of college football that warrants no criticism at all.

Looks like we're improving; Fournette took a step back, QB play is painful (per the norm under Miles). Next week should be tougher.

  4. That pedestrian speaks volumes for this season doesn't it.

    Mett had over 2600 yards.

Jennings is on pace for 1800.

To my point, they let Mett air it out. 207 passing attempts. Jennings has 57 through 7 games. He might not break 140 attempts for the year.

It's helped Mett. Look how he responded in 2013.

  5. I don't blame LF for that Oline was asleep in the 1st half.
  6. Still, you asked the question, the answer is blatantly obvious. Are you trying to insinuate that no receiver will ever want to come play at LSU while Les Miles is still coach?

I think you need a drink.

  7. Because he is a throwing qb. That's like questioning why Peyton Manning is allowed to throw the ball more than Michael Vick.
  8. Jennings won the elite 11 passing camp. I am almost certain he can throw.

If he can't, why start him? Trust the coaches right? Maybe he can't throw past 10 yards, then we end to devolve around him. Or recruit pocket passers.

I mean if Jennings is a runner, then why are we not a spread team? Having a hand off robot is a waste of a player. Run the spread .
  9. Didn't end with yards or ypc worth mentioning.
  10. Hey I'm with you, I'd rather a guy like Mett, sadly I don't think Jennings or Harris are that guy, but they are still very young maybe they will be one day.
