Lee will be needed this year. I don't think it will be a committee unless JJ just bombs.

Remember JJ is not the sliding type well at least to this point and puts his body at risk at times. Lee will need reps in case of nagging injuries or if the OL struggles again and he takes a few hard sacks.

Slightly different take on required improvements.

    1) QB Play
    2) Clock Management
    3) Turnover Margin

It's just like Craig Nall. He left in the spring ahead of his senior year when it became apparent that Booty and Davey were ahead of him and he would get no PT. So Nall transferred to Northwestern for his senior season, started, and got himself drafted by the NFL where he lasted longer than Davey or Booty either one.

Lee will do the same if Jefferson underperforms again and he doesn't see the field. He will know that his senior season will be wasted here and he will transfer down so he can play. On the other hand, if Jefferson underperforms and Miles lets Lee have a go at it, he may feel that he still has a legitimate shot at playing and may stick around. That's my logic anyway.

Offensive scheme, line, coaching and play calling. We have tons of talent on both sides of the ball. The offense has to keep the defense off balance, guessing and consistently put the ball in the hands of the playmakers. We have been way to predictable the last couple of years. The defense is on the field most of the time and still performs, let's give them some relief this year.:eek:ldskule:
