When was the last time LSU had a kicker that we would trust with a game winning/losing situation? I can never remember one. There hasn't been one kicker that I would want to trust with my life for him to hit an extra point. I really hate not having a sound kicking game. I believe XPs should be 100%, and field goals under 50 should be 80%.

I think Jackson can be a pretty good kicker, but Gaudet is trash and we have no use for him.

David Browndike comes to mind. He was in my opinion the best place kicker LSU has ever had.

Well, Saban has stated that he subs between the two because neither one is consistant in games. He said on many occassions that in practice, they both kick very, very well.

I think this game just showed all of us which kicker suffers the most.

Chris Jackson did a nice job (both punting the ball and on the 42 yard FG).

Try to refrain from calling players who wear LSU helmets trash...

These are kids.... He is not trash, he is not a very good kicker, but calling a kid trash is uncalled for. He is a Tiger...

While I think Gaudet should never kick for LSU ever again, I wouldn't go so far as to call him or any other LSU player "trash"
