I'd take the opposing offense at the 20, rather than chancing the return, any day.

 

I don't have data to prove it, but seems to me that kicks that are actually returned, average about the 25 or so, if you ignore the rare returns for TDs and the rare fumbles at the 5.

The problem to me is the chance for GREAT field position (or a game changing TD) if the coverage breaks down.

I'd take the touchback every kick.

True. We had piss poor of a time on coverage last season. A few of them even got away. ST did have an great outing for the NC. Hope that carries into the new.

Yes but it has it's advantages- plenty of room and not a lot of stops.
