I know there were some concerns about the kicking game.... I don't know about kickoffs and punting, but it's reported that Chris Jackson didn't miss a fieldgoal today, and made one from 56 yards into the wind... not too shabby.
Regular Joe soccer players can hit 50 yard field goals with a little practice. The hard part is making them with 91,600 people watching in a real game situation. Kicking is such a mental part of the game.
