1. Must be a pretty bad contusion, specially if it's still 'leaky'. Wonder where it's located....

  2. Maybe...not sure now.
  3. I think the short kickoffs are a huge issue especially the way our offense plays. We grind it out, we don't have a prolific offense and field position matters a lot. Early in the game Moo U was returning the ball to their 35 pretty consistently. One first down, and a few yards on their second series before they punted, and we were getting the ball around our 20 or worse. We will have trouble going 80 yards and scoring a TD on a regular basis, so field position is a huge part of the equation. If we can't solve this problem it will come back to bite us and probably cost us at least one win.

  4. This exactly. 10-15 yards could make all the difference in the world for opposing offenses to put up points on our D. 30 yards from their 35 puts good kickers on the edge of field goal range. Of course, they'll still have to earn those yards against us which is proving to be very difficult.
  5. I'd rather talk about Alleman. We have our self a place kicker. The guy was money all night. From distance
  6. excellent excellent point

doesn't phase our defense, but it sure would be nice to pin someone back inside the 20 and get the ball back past our 40 yard line with a short field

our FGs could quickly turn into TDs (research proves this)
  7. I agree. they came a shoe string away a couple of times to breaking off some huge kick returns.
  8. Does anyone know for certain what happened to Wing including his prognosis and if so, would you please share that info. Thanks.
  9. The title of this thread is misleading, because I immediately thought of Jordan Jefferson.:D
