Bringing a 6-year old to the game on Saturday. Any suggestions on pre-game activities.

    Thanks

Not sure about a 6 year old, but my two year old is plenty entertained running around the quad and throwing leaves into the fountain. For the past few games the fountain has had bubbles in it. Kids get a kick out of bubbles.

funneling contests are great for six year olds i hear.

just get the little on all hopped up on mountain dew and unleash him/her on the ole miss fans.

edit: that's my way of saying i have no idea, sorry.

I've seen these leashes that people put kids on. Kinda like walking your dog. Something to consider?

You guys are baddddd... I don't have kids and I know a few things.

Lots of photo ops around campus- Tiger cage, statues, quad...
There will be a big sale on LSU merchandise at Alex Box Saturday.

Speaking of, take him by the old box and let him see the field. While you are there pick him up a shirt.

Might be a lil chilly but the dairy school has a great lil ice cream shop on campus.

The band and cheerleaders coming down the hill is a must see and he will love it.

I'm sure he will be entertained just walking around but find a tailgate with kids his age, strike up a convo with the Dad and your son will be playing ball with the kids in no time.

    Have fun!! :geaux:

Took my 6 year old daughter to the game last week. I could not get her off the indian mounds. Must have been 200 kids sliding down the hills on cardboard boxs. For 2 hours, she ran up the hill and slid down. Made all sorts of friends.

Now she did fall asleep by half time.

    I wouldn't think that's necessary for a six-year-old, just hold their hand in a big crowd. A six-year-old would likely be humiliated being on a leash--coming from a mom of a seven-year-old.
