Yeah, this guy was destined for big things before his injury. What a great freshman campaign he had.

This will be his last year of eligibility correct?

There is only one thing, an achilles injury is pretty severe. Hopefully he can come back to 100% of the athleticism he had as a freshman. If so, our D will automatically be better than this year. The sky is the limit if he is fully recouperated. He brings a DE with the speed of an OLB.

I always wondered if he could play OLB.

Im not sure, we know he has the straight line speed. In order for him to be able to play OLB it would depend upon his change of direction speed, as well read and recognition skills. Although in a 3-4 scheme or blitz package I can certainly see him being a very effective OLB. Im just not sure about a conventional OLB.

    Ugh...let's see:

2003 Freshman year: 3rd down specialist
    2004: Soph. year
    2005: Jr year, injured; redshirted
2006: RS Jr. year, injured; has applied for medical RS
    2007: could STILL be a RS-Junior
    2008: Sr?

    Does that look right?

Well it looks good to me. I wonder how much school he has left. He could get a MBA and finish his football career at the same time.
