1. How does Kragthorpe rate as a Recruiter generally; as a QB recruiter, and with Texas coaching experiencing, a recruiter who can assist us with Texas recruiting contacts? Knowledgeable opinions solicited.
  2. Crowton wasn't much of a recruiter, so anything would be an improvement. Having a coach with Texas ties is great. Texas produces tons of QBs.
  3. Kragthore the Recruiter, it sort of makes him sound like a great Viking warrior

  4. If he is a good recruiter, I think we may have just come up with a moniker/nickname for him.
  5. and one red will approve of since it has what has been called a "viking warrior" ring to it. :D
  6. True

Sorry to the OP for kidnapping his thread. This is actually a very good question. Although, as was mentioned, Crowton wasn't much of a recruiter so anything could be an improvement.

I would think with ties to Tex he should still have some connections that could be beneficial.
  7. I don't really care if he can recruit, I just want him to be able to develop a quarterback.

  8. It may not be high on priority list of things I would like to see him be able to do, but I do believe that all of the coaches need to have some benefit to the recruiting. With the talent we already have in recruiting, Wilson, we don’t need someone who can light up the recruiting trail, but I do think it is important that kids who want to come play for LSU also want to play for the coach that will be training them. QB’s in this case.
  9. 3 star.
