1. From www.thenflexperts.com

"Another SEC defender who will announce his eligibility for the draft in the coming days is safety Laron Landry of LSU. Several scouts told us Landry could slide into the initial frame and will be the first pure safety selected."

If he is getting the same info, I doubt he comes back. But it looks like we will know for sure in a couple days.
  2. Damn I hate that for you guys. He's a damn good player. You thing Brodie remembers him? :hihi:
  3. Craig Steltz is going to be a beast!

  4. Ok Tigersssssssssssssssssss After all the grief you gave me, can I hear a big "B-r-o-d-i-e- WHO?"  j/k packy-germ
  5. I thought Michael Huff from Texas was considered to be the "first pure safety selected"????....
  6. Speaking of Michael Huff - what is with dude's unorthodox tackling style?

He tries to wrap up with his arms AND legs!

I saw one shot when he was trying to tackle Bush coming out of the
    backfield with his legs first!
  7. Bush went down didn't he?
  8. How many tackles have you seen made like that?

Why don't coaches teach it more often if it works?
  9. You never saw me play in high school. All 5'8" and 150-something lbs. of me...hanging on for dear life... :thumb: :hihi:

Maybe Huff practices Judo??? or is it Ju Jit Su (or however you spell) it--the martial art where you grapple more than anything else...
  10. His tackling style maybe awkward, but it is effective. I really hate to lose LaRon but wish him all the luck. I was really thinking he may come back considering he didn't have a LaRon type season.:helmet:
