I agree with BB & Turbotiger...Saban said during fall camp that Hawkins was the best in & out of the break receiver we had on the ENTIRE TEAM as an 18 year old with no experience. That means he's one seriously dedicated route runner. It's just strange that we weren't putting a premium on that via his position on the depth chart. I guess that Saban figured that between Bowe & Green, he could afford to keep Hawkins down on the chart, since Doucet & Davis seem to have an innate ability to make plays with their athletic ability as opposed to just running more precise routes. Saban might have also had plans on redshirting Hawkins to make sure his academic house was in order before trying to throw the whole playbook at him. He might have sensed his tenativeness...
I can separate different points...I can agree to disagree on certain subjects, and think lockstep with you on others... Just cuz I can't stand Brady, and you don't agree, that doesn't mean that we don't think exactly alike regarding LSU football, or AD matters, or TAF situations, or parking woes, or other things... Why is that such a wild leap for some? That I can honestly have a beef with Brady but not hold such a personal grudge against those that disagree with me? SabanFan & I think alike on many subjects, yet we differ on Brady...That doesn't stop me from giving him rep points and publicly agreeing with him from time to time...
Then what do you disagree with me on, specifically? Why is it crazy that I agree with you? I'll admit I'm lost on this one... BTW-Good decision on not liking Brady ;-)
I just tend to wonder...When I first came here, I think I was either universally feared, wondered about, or just steered clear of... I don't think anyone took issue with me until I said words detrimental to John Brady... I just wonder where I got off track...
