LB Ali Highsmith

Don't know if you guys remember him. LB recruit from last year that was deciding between LSU and Miami. Committed to Miami but didn't qualify. It now appears he is coming to LSU.

yep this is true. This is a huge pickup for our linebacker core. He should fit in very nicely with Luke Sanders and E.J. Kuale.

no I mean as in this coming year. Ali Highsmith is that good. Looks like he will begin classes at LSU Tuesday and participate in spring practice.

 

what about hollis? didnt hear from him this year but he's a senior and was very highly regarded.

 

Insiders had him as #41 LB, 3 star.


Rivals had him at # 16 OLB, 3 star.

 

I think that Hollis was probably redshirted, therefore making him a RS junior this year......you can redshirt JUCO's, right??

 

I believe you can redshirt anyone.

 

Yes, Hollis had trouble picking up the Defense so they redshirted him

 

It's curious that the Insiders has his speed in the 40 listed at 4.7, while Rivals list it at 4.51?
