Maybe they mistook Barkevious Mingo for Barrett Matthews? Nah only Buddy D and Hap Glaudi could do that. I'm flowin!
FWIW, a teammate of his is a walk-on at LSU posted on another site and says he feels Mingo is coming to LSU.
In other LSU football news, I learned Monday afternoon that defensive back Tyler Glynn (6'1", 185, 4.4) from West Monroe has turned down several scholarship offers from mid-size 1-A and 1-AA schools to attend LSU as a preferred walk-on. Glynn told me in an email that he hopes to room with Barkevious Mingo at LSU. From Dandy Don No real news but you'd hope Mingo's teammates would know where he's going and it appears Glynn is turning down some good oppurtunities to stay with him. Also anyone have the scoop on Glynn? Rivals has him at 5'10, 4.7 and 165 lbs, which is a lot different to the above. Scout has him a 2 star.
