There was tons of problems with that telecast. It was God awful. You would swear LSU was ranked 90th in recruiting right now the way they omitted us.
Mingo never played football until he was a junior in high school. Could you imagine if were on the West Monroe football team, and this junior that never played football before tries out for the team and not only takes your spot, but is so great that he was named the Louisiana 5A Defensive MVP, as well as invited to play in the U.S. Army All-American game?
I did think it was strange that the only real mention of LSU was when we had a hat sitting on some kids table. We should get much more hype tomorrow.
We only had two commits in the game -- Ford and Davenport. If we had Randle and Mingo, we would have gotten a lot more love.
Yes but to totally omit LSU when we are on the verge of possibly running away with this thing is kinda crazy.
True but, when they were talking about the top classes LSU was mentioned after Flordia, Bama ect. like we are doing just ok instead of incredible.
I don't think the graphic listing Mingo as a UT recruit was a mistake. It wasn't true but they showed it several times. It was an accident like Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction". Do you think some UT graphics subcontractor in a van outside the stadium somewhere did it to gig LSU? I'd think they'd do something on McFarland and OU. Any conspiracy theories out there. I know mine is ridiculous, But I do believe someone did it on purpose.
