Re: Minter commits I know I'm late, but YESSSS! This guy is versatile & exactly what we need in our LB corps. He was a LB that we really wanted, and I'm really happy that we got him. I had thought he could commit soon, but word was that USC really started cranking up their recruitment of him and I thought that may delay his decision, but I'm happy that it has not. uscvball, any comment on Minter?

I do believe as I just posted in the Wort thread, that USC (as well as some other schools) has become more interested in him. I'm borrowing this so don't take it as "werd" but I believe we've offered 10 LB's. Simmons Burfict Teo N. Johnson T. Patrick Minter Jenkins Telfort Metcalf and latest ... Wort and Jarvis Jones. Simmons looks like he may be a no go as he's recently gotten into some legal trouble. Mante Te'o is target #1 with Burfict and Metcalf already committed.
Re: Minter commits Rivals has a new video of him posted with commentary added. He looks very impressive. My biggest wonder through this process is what the La kids are thinking as they see these out of state recruits fall like dominoes. Our spots are quickly disappearing.
Re: Minter commits :geaux::crystal::helmet: I hope they're thinking that maybe it's time to quit sitting on their hands and grab those spots while they're still there!!!! I'm sure that the big-time in-state guys will have their spots guaranteed, but there are probably others who could get lost in the shuffle if they wait too long. It would really be a shame for some in-state kid to get so caught up in enjoying all the hype to lose his spot at LSU. Probably going to happen to a couple of them this year. :geauxtige:champs::LSU231:
