Yeah I just thought Barrow was a definite "no grayshirt" offer. I can't remember now.

    Claiborne I could see.

it means he's projecting him to get eligible.

btw, how can he qualify for ole miss but no for lsu? don't they have the same academic standards?

There is little to no difference. We are both near the minimum for NCAA/SEC standards for athletes.

LSU is much harder for regular students though.

Cparso, you see TJones having been a pretty easy 4 star had it not been for grades?

I think he's a solid 4 star player. I would put him just inside the Rivals 250.

And Barrow a 4 star but outside the top 250, correct?

I think Barrow is a borderline 3/4 star guy. He's a good LB, but I think he's got limited upside.

What is LSU's problem with not being able to recruit/get commitments from any linebackers? Are we shooting to high & losing out on both the 5 star out of state players & the Louisiana guys that want to come get tired of waiting & go elsewhere? I remember when Barrow was a " no way will LSU offer him" player & now he is commited. Jones is another example because of grades & we were after much higher rated players. Whats the rest of the story guys??
