1. I was scanning the CFN site when I stumbled on this interesting article. Here's an excerpt:

"Our report on him [from the training staff] is he's good to go [Tuesday]," Mullen said. "There's not going to be a limited number of throws [in practice]. He's going to be full go.

"The current injury he has won't affect him at all and [affect] his playing time this week."

Leak, who was among a dozen or so players who were given a light workout on Monday and released from practice early, declined to comment about his status or his injury. Meyer said the junior from Charlotte, N.C., originally suffered the injury against Florida State in 2004 and re-injured his shoulder in the Gators' 31-3 loss at Alabama.
Meyer revealed the injury after UF's 35-9 win over Mississippi State last Saturday, saying that Leak practiced sparingly. Mullen said the training staff limited the number of throws Leak could make in practice.

Need to make sure our D sees the article so they can "assist" him in his recovery.

The rest of the article is here
  2. They can try to minimize it all they want, but he's hurt. He hurt it last year, reinjured it vs. Bammer, aggravated it vs. MSU..and now they say it won't be a factor? If we crush him early, he could be knocked out of the game.
  3. Now we know why he looked so relunctant to run the option.
  4. Meyer has been hedging gradually all year.
I wonder how long it will take for the Florida faithful to realize what an A$$ Foley really is.

Spurrier was the guy Florida needed to put them back on top in the SEC.

As far as Pellini goes, if he hasn't learned by now?
  5. Seeing what I've see of the Big Red faitful up in Nebraska the past 2 years, I bet the felt the heat up there just like he is here. LSU doesn't have anything on the Huskers when it comes to rabid fans.
  6. You da man, FT. You got Pelini to change his whole way of doing things. Way to go.
  7. If I were me, I would send T. Washington in to take a 15 yard penalty and knock the everloving crap out of Mr. Leak.:po:
  8. Now if you would just sit back and let our fans do their work, then LSU could have a magical season!
  9. We played a little tighter becuase the MSU/VU receivers are bottom class sec talent, and had less chance to beat their man. It remains to be seen how much press we play vs. Florida, who has some WRs that can match our speed. If we do play tight though, and they get beat and score on long balls, I don't want to come on here and see every bitching about not playing enough cushion.
  10. 2003 Fla. used a bunch of screens and draws as i recall to counter our blitzing and caught us a few times.

That happens when you blitz sometimes. But our offense stunk up the game and Chris leak did not beat us. Our offense beat us because they took the game off.

We beat Fla. last year because we denied him his short passes and the offense played better.

I am not sure we want Chris Leak out of the game. An injured Leak is better for us.
