That is why college athletes shouldn't get paid, a free degree is huge. Not having to be in debt for the next 30 years with student loans has be a wonderful thing. At least for the ones on a full ride.
That was a quick stretch for Armand Williams. Did he ever play? I remember reading the article about him sleeping in his mother's car during his senior year, or something like that. Had some football hopes for him, but I tell you what, if he finished w/a college degree, that's impressive. I wonder if that is what CLM had in mind all along w/a guy like him?
Good Lord, are they actually wearing purple gowns at graduation now? Even our tassels were black when I graduated.
Congratulations on a job well done gentlemen. This is a more important accomplishment than anything any of you have done or likely ever will do on the football field. Kudos to you and to CLM and the Tiger athletic program for supporting you.
