I love that you are "giving me a break"... however.. 2 things: 1. It was a texas/OK joke. 2. I've spent more time with marines in the sand than onboard a ship. Also, I am still active duty. Just thought I'd throw some of that out there.
haha...I sleep in a drawer... Honestly though... You are right in a way... I think I have "dumbed" down a bit since being with 3rd MARDIV... but I can tell you, I'd rather hang out with jarheads than freaking navy jackasses any day of the week. While in fleetweek last year, it was me and about 30 other marines in the charlies... I, in my whites. Some sailors from another ship were making fun of either me or some of my buddies (I was pretty damn drunk, I really don't know) and these 6 marines kicked these guys asses just for talking chit to me... haha it was rather awesome I must say. :hihi: Then they bought me more guiness. hah sorry... I guess I let an inside joke slip on here... but everyone started freaking out about it, as if I didn't know where texas or oklahoma were. Some of my friends that used to live in houston used to make jokes all the time about OK and TX. How if they were joined up that they would rule the US being so large. One of my other friends stated that OK would still be the "gay part"... Also, another friend used to make comments on how texas and oklahoma were practically the same state... one of those "guess you had to be there things" hence the inside joke... eh.. wasted... thing is, I didn't even think twice about typing texas... Yeah yeah, I know CLM used to coach at OSU... It wasnt a typo. P.S. - You are welcome. Just trying to help.
I love the way that hanging out with us makes squids talk down on themselves. Always capitalize Marine Corps. I'm just bustin your chops alittle, I've got dang near three years at sea myself. I'll give him a break on the Texass thing, but why did he feel the need to preface his post with "I'm not one to suck the wang of a coach"? Maybe it's just me, but every single post I read I assume the poster is not one to suck a coach's wang.
