As much as I've enjoyed the passing game, there was a sweet feeling of shoving it down Florida's throat over and over telling them to take the entire thing~
Yeah it was smash mouth football. I love the passing most, but when you manhandle your opponent, that's a totally different feeling. It's a machismo thing.
This indeed, what boggles the hell out of me is how Hill had such an amazing game today versus a great run defense, and kept getting stopped by Georgia.
38 to 17, run to pass ratio has CLM written all over it. it's a win, but I would have preferred to see a bit more passing and breaking the game open and winning more convincingly. great to see the defense play well, but the game was closer than it needed to be at 14-6. not trying to sound unappreciative, b/c I am about a win against a nationally ranked team, and any win against FLA, but I just honestly think we are better than a 17-6 score. our offense could have done more if they would have been unleashed.
Honestly, the way our D was playing, I am fine with running the ball. Would have loved to pass more, but its nice to see our Team be VERY physical.
The most important aspect of today's win was the re-emergence of some semblance of a defense at LSU. All we need is a competent defense to wreak some havoc.
