1. And play book knowledge.
  2. Well of course Randal had the edge in playbook knowledge because Russell had been on campus for only a couple weeks. I'm sure if Russell had exhibited leadership ability very early in his time at LSU, they would have developed a game plan for him.
  3. Yeah but didn't JR redshirt his freshman year?
  4. Yep. That's why he didn't start. He was the starter midway through the next year I think...
  5. See that's the season I'm talking about, he still was pretty clueless after spending an entire year in the system studying the play book.
  6. I have never jumped on the bandwagon that JR had issues with the playbook. First, I never saw evidence of it. Armchair QB aside, he held Matt Flynn at bay for three years. No one has ever claimed that Flynn had playbook issues, but yet he somehow was picking splinters for three years behind a guy who struggled with the playbook? You can say the coach was biased because it spanned two different head coaches. Did JR have some dirty pics of Jimbo Fisher?

It just doesn't make logical sense.

I think some people have problems separating Jamarcus at LSU and Jamarcus in Oakland.

  7. What was he clueless to?

  8. People believe what they want to believe regardless of the facts, quotes by the coaches, etc.

  10. Still more than Jamarcus

If you recall that 2004 game was the game when we had auburn beat or at least a force into OT until the phantom Ronnie Prude call on the pat. Then 2 years later in 06 which was a bad ass squad, Jamarcus again couldn't score a TD, that was the Early Doucet PI game.
