1. Nice article on JLee. Bottom line, the media is beginning to show respect for him now and realize what we have been saying all along....he isn't a RS Frosh anymore. This is his team, his moment, our season:

LSU Tigers QB Jarrett Lee perseveres his way back to starter - ESPN

From the article, this is what he had to say about LSU and his decision to stick it thru thick and thin with us:

"It was definitely something that crossed the back of my mind," Lee said. "But I didn't come to LSU to transfer. I wanted to stick it out. It's a special place and I really wanted to graduate from LSU."
  2. Great article! :thumb:

This statement he made says a lot about his character,

"I was a young player, but that's college football," Lee said. "That's life and sometimes those things happen. I grew up a lot, and I wouldn't trade '08 for anything."

Wow! Now that's a man! :thumb:
  3. Great article! What a great guy! Lee's parents must be proud. They must be really good people to have instilled the qualities in Lee that have served him so well in all of this. He is the perfect leader for this team at this time. With all the turmoil of the summer it's good to have someone who has persevered through personal turmoil.

  4. Thought the same thing. He's aces is my book! :thumb:
  5. Gotta give Lee his props. He one tough guy!
  6. By WE, you aren't talking about most of the people on this board. Jes sayin!
  7. I just scanned all the posts in this topic and didn't see the word 'we' anywhere =S

  9. ahhh I thought you meant 'we' as in those in the topic posts. You're right, there have been a lot of nay-sayers all along and probably still some that would prefer him not to be leading the team.
