cool. i'll believe my source then.
josh, i enjoyed your contribution to the show. but let's face it, blake kinda dragged that show down. i would've liked to see you paired up with someone who was intelligent, b/c i think that could've gotten a following.

I appreciate that buddy. Im working on different things now but I'd love to be back on radio one of these days. I would like to have a partner that understood humor and radio and how to entertain.

So I guess you don't really care about local stations having everyday news about our favorite local sports in the morning?Like I said earlier,if you know of someone better then say it and maybe it could grow some legs.I think 1210 plays enough national stuff right now and it isn't even live, just in case you ever have the urge to call in mike and mike, collin,or rome you can't because they are tape delayed.

No I really don't care to hear bad radio, even if it's about LSU.

In my opinion most people can get more information about sports off the internet in 30 minutes than on your average 2 hour radio show. This means that a radio show needs to be either entertaining or the hosts/guests should have some level of credibility.

This is why ESPN radio likes to pair up a ex-pro with professional radio host. That way they get both entertainment and credibility. The only ESPN hosts who aren't paired up on the radio are those whose personality can carry a show by itself and even then they have a parade of credible guests.

The two local shows were not entertaining and had no credibility. The two shows that are left have some level of entertainment value.

I second the vote for Hanngriff. He had a pretty good thing for a local show.

Rome is tape delayed. Just listen to some of the stuff he talks about sometimes and its obvious that it is tape delayed. I belive his show is 9-12 in socal. I agree with the person that said the local shows werent entertaining. I can totally agree. There is no reason to have a morning show on that puts people to sleep. You have to have a show that wakes people up and gets them going in the morning. The show I was on had no credibility. I tried to give it some by being informed, but other factors hurt it badly.

Is there any word on another local host getting a shot at the morning slot?

Heck I'll give anyone besides Andrews and Fine a shot. I can't believe some station hasn't put Condon back on the air.

I think eventually in the long run you could possibly see a local morning show. I think it would be a good idea. I also think that Condon should be in the mix. I'd like to hopefully work myself into the mix as well. I'm hoping to get another shot b/c I know I can do it if Im doing it on my own terms.
