I was at Sam's Club the other day and saw Lonesome Dove on sale for $12 and bought the 2 disc set.

I haven't watched it since it originally aired on TV years back.

I've watched Part 1 and Part 2 so far.

Easily one of my favorite Westerns.

Robert Duvall was awsome in that series.

Great movie. Compare Lonesome Dove to our modern day western Brokeback Mountain, and tell me our society isn't going down the tubes.

Best Western ever.

I love Tombstone, but I dont really consider it a Western. Still a great movie that is on the History Channel right now.

That was a great buy, it is such a good movie, I have it also. I watch it a lot.
