Longhorns should be NCs?

Seems like McCoy thinks they should be crowned.

Um...you guys just squeaked out a win against the #10 team. I understand it's all campaigning, but it would be better received if they had blown OSU off the field but almost losing to the #10 team then saying there's nobody that can beat us is borderline ridiculous.

I hope the AP bucks the system.

Otherwise BCS folks will be content to leave well enough alone.

After what I saw last night, I am even more convinced that OU and UF are the two teams that should be playing in the BCSNCG.

Those were my thoughts. If anything, last night's game showed, if nothing else, that Texas is nowhere near the best team in the land.

cant say that i agree, i think texas should have played florida, apples and orange bowls though.

we dont know that Zero U wouldnt have laid an egg offensively against TOSU either, that being said, i hope Florida crushes Zero U.

its kinda hard to swallow now, but if OU wins itll be really tough having a NC that lost to a one-loss team.

This is very close to the situation in 2003 and 2004. All the parties knew the rules before the hands were dealt. The winner of the BCS NC is the only National Champion.

Funny thing is the AP was still part of the BCS equation and they still decided to screw the BCS process by not voting for LSU in '03.

Now the AP has nothing to do with the BCS process, even more reason to believe they are more than capable of saying eff you to the BCS again.

I just think Texas not drubbing OSU will ultimately prevent them from sharing the title.
