This is my breakdown looking at the game

    LSU

Important to get off to a great start. Dont get down early in the game. LSU was able to jump on Auburn early last year and that enabled the defense to be more agressive.

Must establish the running game and do some good ball control.

Defense must crowd the line and make sure we hussle and gang tackle. Their runners are good and must tackle well this game. Put their quarterback in long yardage third downs.

Play sharp and dont turn the ball over. Cause some turnovers and take advantage.

Special teams are going to be important .

    Auburn

No matter what they say they are going to be higher than a kite to play LSU. Use that against them and shut them down early. Take the crowd out and show composure.

Realize that their runners are going to have a few good runs. Dont let it rattle the d and keep the pressure on. Run Blitz and i think it will frustrate them.

If Auburn does hit a big play dont worry. It is a long game and keep our cool. OSU we sort of lost our composure early.

LSU Defensive line is going to have to be tough. Dont sidestep a hole to get around unless a gap defense is called. Play your man and stand him up and use your hands to break to the ball.

Their fans are going to be wound up. No matter what they say this their game to avenge from last year. The corndogs are coming and they want to win this one bad.

    Game

Dont be too high . Play under control and business like. Take care of the ball and hit some big plays. Play tough early.

The winner of this one is in the drivers seat in the SEC west. Leave it all on the field.

    LSU 27 Auburn 17

No pressure ... LSU's going for a good time ... Loose

Too much ****ing speed for this crew ... and Auburn knows it ... they better pray for a hurricane reprieve :hihi:

Auburn ... nothing but a one-trick pony ... lmfao ... what analysis is needed

Don't you think Muschamp and Saban know exactly what to expect from Tub-o-****'s crew?

Here's your LSU defense ... based on AU's new "Pot Roast" attack

Let's see ... what is it that Auburn does ... it's rocket science :dis:

How many runs per pass for AU on 1st down ... duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

What is Auburn's bread n' butter on 3rd and medium (4-6 yds) ...

On third and long ... 7+ yards ...

On 2nd and long ...

What does AU call on 3rd and medium after 2 consecutive running plays ...

thrill us with "analysis" on these points ... don't sit here cringing about a possible weakness in the middle of the LSU Dee

... give us a ****ing break :dis:

What does Auburn do on first down? How many passes per run on first down ... :dis:

LSU will go into Auburn's stadium "on fire" ... they'll know what Auburn's up to from their offensive sets ... and LSU will punish the AU running game ... all night long.

Jason Campbell can't beat LSU with his weak as piss short passing game ... Mix and Obamanu or whatever the phuck it is ... are as worrysome as a cloudy day :dis:

Auburn has nothing but ... the RUN ... and they'll run all night long against
LSU ... 70% + running plays ... because they know when they "HAVE TO" pass ... it's all over but the shoutin' ... LSU is gonna eat Campbell alive

Now ... you're Muschamp and you know this ... whaddaya do? it's rocket science

If it turns into a 4th-quarter game, I think LSU will prevail because of our depth. Oregon State was running out of steam in the 4th quarter and our fast receivers began to get open. They were blown by the overtime and were resorting to flagrant holding. Arkansas State played hard the entire game, but never had any speed in the first place.

Auburn will be in much better condition, of course. But LSU has superior depth and will exploit it late in the game. :geaux:

If Randall starts the game, then look for Auburn to be super aggressive on defense and stack 8 at the line and dare Randall to throw the ball. If LSU runs some standard run play formations early on versus 4 wide receiver sets, look for us to struggle just as we did in the OSU game.

How long Randall stays in determines our fate.

Hopefully Russell starts, we play wide open football spreading the field. This will be the winning recipe for success in this game offensively.

I think that both teams will have a similar strategy.

Stop the run and make the QB try to beat you with the pass

I hope you're right and it's this easy. Even if all this happens we still have to score. Some defensive/special teams scores would be great, but without that I worry about how we will score. Hopefully, the QB and WRs will be in sync.

Remember that Marc. Rand. has a chip on his shoulders and remembers his nightmare of a game two years ago. I can see him coming in to this game on fire and showing Auburn that he is not the same QB that lost the game 2 years ago.

Look for the coaches to give MR the chance to prove himself against the team that embarassed him in 2002. JaMarcus R will come in every 3rd series or so to spark the offense, and may finish up the last quarter of the game if we are up enough, getting plenty of PT in a hostile environment, getting him ready for the other 2 big games, in which I expect the majority of PT to go to JR instead of MR.

This game will be decided in the trenches. Who's stronger and who is more of a man. If the defense misses tackles this game will be very very hard to win. Auburns RB's are as good as it gets. I see a close game, but it's really a pick'em who's going to win.
