That was my wife's first game. Everyone had told me all week I wouldn't be able to get a tic. We walked, and walked and when it looked hopeless- some guy comes running up and asks how many I needed.......runs back to you know where and returns with two for the student sec. It was oversold and the aisles were so jammed, it was almost impossible to get to the bottom to go to the restroom but a blast. captainpodnuh, remember the AU QB dropping back in his own endzone and someone blowing a whistle and he thought the play was over but one of our defensive players "Carried on" and planted him in front of the student sec??
Poor Zona..... And I never get tired of reading about out dominant defenses! :thumb: As for the "Magic"......we all know how magical it ended up being with Retardo.
Funny you should mention Zona. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2840834&campaign=rss&source=NCFHeadlines
I didn't do my homework on the post. In the spirit of the thread, it was DAMN loud during that game in '95. That must have been the first year I got season tickets. I bought them early cause I finished in '96, but I had a great opportunity to scoop up some lower NEZ tix.:hihi:
Auburn 97 was the game that Cecil Collins blow it up but we still lost. He rushed for 235 yards and had a total of 303 all purpose yards on the day. What a waste.
