Calvin Borel rides Mine that Bird 50 to 1 shot in one of the BEST races I have watched in a LONG TIME!!!!

I didn't realize how great a race it was until they showed where he came from in the pack. Unbelievable. $9,500 for that horse. That's a hell of an investment.

 

My 10 dollar investment was pretty nice!!!!

The 4 longshots that I bet $10 on to win, Mine that Bird and Join in the Dance were 2 of em..Join that Dance LEAD damn near the entire race!

And I had P of Nile to WPS

I had $60 spread out.

Thanks for posting that, it was a GREAT RACE! Unbelievable how far back he came from to win. There is another clip up today called "unbelievable" and it is a long interview with Calvin while he is still on his horse on the track. GREAT INTERVIEW!

His 2007 Kentucky Derby win was an awesome come from-behind-win as well, but yeah, this one takes the cake. Borel is one of the greatest ever. Thanks for making Louisiana proud Borel!!!
