1. Did anybody see this during halftime of the WV & Maryland game?

I was almost embarrassed for ole Lou but he embarrasses himself every week and is used to it so I just laughed at this segment.

That has got to be one of the cheesiest things I've seen on an ESPN commentary show.

Lou acting like he is a coach in the locker room providing cliche's and a pep talk to the audience as if they are the football players:lol: ....this is ESPN's idea of commentary and serious discussion of upcoming games. You've got to be kidding me.
  2. I mute the tv when LOU does his pep talk.:geauxtige
  3. All I can think of is the poor intern that had to mop up Lou's drool puddle when he is done.

  4. I think this is the last we will see of Lou on TV after this season. Where's Beano Cook? Beano would be so much more entertaining.
  5. Why did he want to play USC instead of UCLA? I didn't catch that part.

  6. because USC is easier to spell.  seriously...thats what he said! :hihi:
  7. LOL
When he talks I bob and weave trying to duck projectile spittle.:hihi:
  8. and apparently the other commentators liked that part...sometimes i'm not sure if they really like him or if they humor him, and granny just doesn't get it....

  9. Lou Holtz is headed to the glue factory

    "Notre Dame gets ten (wins)"
    "Lou Saban at Alabama"
"Jed, move away from there...Californny is the place we oughtta be..."

    ESPN is a joke.
Bring back Trev, smart part, Alberts.
  10. That was the first time I saw Lou's Pep Talk. I didn't know they were doing that. That will be the last time I watch it though.

I hate the way he reaches out and touches May when he thinks of something to say. You can tell that May is just thinking "Don't touch me geezer". I really hope this is his last season.
