By a norrow margin. Need VT to lose Sat. to stay 4th and possibly take 3rd with UGA win.

The only way VaTech jumps you guys is if you lose. They play a 4 loss ACC Team in the ACC Championship.

If it stays as is Ohio State and Oregon will be the at large teams... unless, of course, ND hires Mack Brown to deliver some last minute votes...

we are .0181 ahead of PSU in coaches poll. I expect that to stay the same if we win.

they are .0088 ahead in the harris poll. i would hope that if we win vs georgia that we would go back up to #3 there. that would be a .0176 switch.

they are ahead of us .16 in the computer rankings.

So if we were to move up to #4 lets say in the computers after beating UGA, moved back to #3 in the Harris, and stayed put in the coaches, the score would be...

    PSU - .896
    LSU - .8883

Basically the only way we will beat them is if we jump to #3 in the computers and they slide back to #4. That would turn out to be:

    LSU - .905
    PSU - .8794

And if the Harris still leaves us the same way but the computers jump us to #3 it would be

    LSU - .9021
    PSU - .8823

Basically, it's all on the computers. We have to move ahead of PSU in the computers for it to matter. I don't exactly know how the computers work, so I don't know if thats possible. I guess thats for someone else to figure out.

Seems like Oregon has been screwed once before by the BCS.
