    and, love how we jump out early, then ride out solid defense and solid pitching. Seems to be the theme in many of the games.

    LSU advances to 10-0 in our weekend openers (all Friday games except Thurs v BYU). Seven of those wins were attributed to Nola, who is now 7-0 this season

    W Maryland, 1-0
    W (Thurs) BYU, 6-5

    W @Miss State, 6-4 (10 innings)
    W Auburn, 9-4
    W @Missouri, 2-0
