The strong part of the team cost us FT's. Pretty much Bass did it by hisself he shot horrible from the ft line.

This game was lost on the free throw line. LSU is leading SEC in free throws, but went 12-22 today. Bass is 81% and went 5-11.

Also, Minor played one of his best half in the 1st half today. Then for some reason, Brady benched him the last 16 minutes of the game. Something must have happened between the two .... it couldn't have been about his play today.

I know Minor was limping a little bit when he got fouled and then went to the line and missed the front of the 1n1. But I think the reason he wasn't playing is b/c he couldn't matchup deffensively.

Good point, he was hurt on that play ... maybe he couldn't go 100 miles an hour in the 2nd half!

Minor is definately a liability on defense. If he ain't scoring, he just soon ride the bench. But he was scoring today in the 1st half.

we lost it on our ft line, but they won it on their ft line too. 16-17

its brady's fault they shot so well from the line. he should be fired now!!!

sounded like a great game. we didnt lose it, they won it. i'm very impressed that they had twice the fouls as us and twice the turnovers. usually their aggressive D will cause steals and turnovers. we had the same # of steals.

they hurt us on the boards a bit.

if brandon bass would of shot free throws like he has been all year we would of won....oh well free throws are as importent as anything in basketball.

I'm never one to discount the importance of free throws, but I thought we should have fouled instead of letting the pigs run 20 seconds off the clock in the last minute. We were down by three, and needed the posessions. Instead, we relied that they would miss, and then gave ourselves only one chance to tie the game. I don't like that strategy and never have.

Hit the free throws and it doesn't matter. Oh, well.
